HI!

my name is Courtney! Welcome to my tiny corner of DA! Due to adulting I may not always be the most active member here but please don't be afraid to say hi, I don't bite! I may be quiet but I have no issues with making friends!

I am currently 22 and I've been on da for five years. I first started my DA journey when I was in high school, DA was my first internet experience as I grew up on a farm and didn't spend much time on the internet growing up. When I came to DA it was following a comic someone had posted on youtube that I was hoping to find an end to. Coming here I realised I was an artist too and I never thought I could share my work with the world. And so I decided to create my own account and start posting my own work. I started out with traditional hand draw work but moved up to digital when I found out about tablets specially made for drawing. I got my first tablet a year later, a wacom bamboo tablet. I used that for years learning how to do layers and other tricks perfecting my skills until I decided I wanted to get something better, and so about a year ago I started saving money and bought myself an xp-pen tablet for 700$ a more high end model with a screen you can draw directly on instead of having to watch a computer screen instead of your hand as it was done with the old tablet I had. I continue to try to improve and better my skills so that I can share my work with the world. When I first came to DA I thought I wanted fame and for everyone to know of my work, but I've since grown past my childish ambition and I just hope to continue to create and enjoy what I do for as long as that may be.

When I was more active on DA I had way more friends and tons of people I admired, but as time went on I had to start working as adults do. I hope to get my ass in university soon but I have yet to figure out exactly what I want to do. Normally I would have had a long list of people that I admire and people that I used to talk to all the time but really I just want to slim it down to the people that really matter.

A few people you should definitely check out that I talk to from time to time that are still really nice people and I consider to be good friends.

there are many more people who have been really nice to me and are good friends but the list will go on and on if I mentioned everyone who was ever nice to me, so to anyone reading this who would be on this list, you know who you are ^w^

and lastly I just was to mention my absolute best friend ever on DA. I met her thorugh a mutual friend and we just hit it off. we talked and roleplayed every day, shipped multiple of our characters, built storylines together and the list goes on. I've known her almost as long as i've been on here, she's the only person I trust with my personal social media's like Instagram and Snapchat. We talk all the time, and I've been there for her and vice versa. We've helped each other through so much and there isn't a single person on this site that I hope to meet face to face with someday more than her.
